Ok my upload speed is at max about 80 KBs so well see how this goes. Right now I'm just adding my music collection, piece by piece. If it goes well I might put some TV shows or Movies up also. I do take requests if there is something you are looking for. Please try to keep this under your hat. The more people you give the information too, the slower your stuff will go. If you use your browser to get to my FTP, then you should just be able to right click on the file you want and download it in your browser like any other file. There was FTP client programs that can make it easier to get a lot of stuff, but for the FTP beginner the browser method is best to start off with.
Without any further ado:
ftp://98.233.143.70
Username is buddy, password is letmein.
(Someone was having problems with the "Save As" in Internet Explorer, and the workaround is to goto the site using a specially typed address. Type in the address like so: ftp://lllll:ppppppp@98.233.143.70
Where the l's are the login, and the p's are the password. I'd type it but then any automated web program could find it and directly go in without having to type the password.)
I'm still moving files to the site, but you can get started if you want.
UPDATE: Ok I have my Rock music folder shared out for the time. There's a very wide variety of music, and the term Rock is used loosely. Some of it I have no idea what it is, as some is my ex's music. I have 215GB of MP3s, and only 70GB of drive space on the FTP server, so I'll be rotating things on and off. Leave me a message if you are downloading something that will take some time, so that I don't remove it during.
Also for my friends that are fans of Trailer Park Boys, there was a new special that aired in Canada earlier this month, and I have it up on the FTP site. If you haven't experienced TPB, I highly recommend that you do.... but this special is one of the last ones, so its probably not the best place to start. Let me know and I can put season 1 up online.
And anyone who wants to keep score (or wants to know why I have 2.9 TB of storage and am running out) here's my count of what I have:
MP3 210 GB
Teaching Company Lectures 213 GB
Movies 222 GB
TV Shows 516 GB
High Def Shows&Movies 110 GB
PC Games 118 GB
Tech Training 141 GB
OtherStuff 83 GB
1613 GB (aprox 1.6 TeraBytes)
