Keep Watching This Space

I'm taking my file collection to the next level and opening up a FTP server so that those near and dear to me can browse my stuff and download anything they want. Internet Explorer should have FTP integrated enough so that you can download stuff easily. I'll create a link up here once I get it set up. I believe initially I'll move different music stuff into the server to see how it goes. Right now I'm putting my Rock n Roll directory up there and I should be posting the link up here soon.

Just a note, in the evenings I like to play some online games, so don't be surprised if I turn the speed down on the server for an hour or two in the evenings and weekends. If this works out well I can enable some features and give some tips on how to make it easier. But I want to see the interest in my stuff first.

And about the guy at work in my previous post. He spent christmas eve running port scans, virus scans, and trying to catch people in our group "in the act" of remote controlling his machine. He highly suspected me, but couldn't pin it on me. So I left on Wednesday with him still struggling. I came in today and it was still at it. So I had mercy upon him and removed it with him watching. A good time was had, as he realized what it was. Next target is a tech in our group who has been out the last 2 days and missed out on all of this. Now that the trick is exposed I think we'll all be in on it when he gets back. Good fun.

Merry Xmas, Happy new year.
